Invest in the future: Neutrino Energy
Invest in the future: Neutrino Energy
Just a decade ago, leading scientists scoffed at the idea that neutrinos could be harnessed for energy. Long dubbed the “ghost particle,” the neutrino was seen as ephemeral and essentially useless. With the discovery that neutrinos have mass, it became apparent that these particles also have energy. Preliminary experiments have

The Answer to Rapidly Spreading Diesel Bans
The Answer to Rapidly Spreading Diesel Bans
To combat the menace of fossil fuel pollution, German cities across the country have put diesel bans in place that prevent vehicles with diesel engines from operating on certain roadways. Since diesel trucks are necessary for carrying goods, this desperate attempt to save the environment strays close to deindustrialization. Cheap,

Harnessing the power of cosmic radiation
Harnessing the power of cosmic radiation
The International Energy Agency predicts that solar power will outpace all other forms of energy by 2040, but solar energy’s inevitable downfall is that it can’t work when the sun isn’t shining. Enter Neutrino Energy and its Power Cubes, able to harness the power of cosmic radiation, or neutrinos, even

University of Oregon reports: The Era of the ‚Homo Electricus‘ and Neutrino Energy In this era of „homo electricus,“ life without electricity is completely unconceivable. But how is this energy to be generated? At the present time, scientists are working on a new form of technology which will revolutionize mankind’s

The technology for harnessing neutrino is becoming a reality
The technology for harnessing neutrino is becoming a reality as researchers begin to unravel its secrets. In the foreseeable future, neutrinos transformers may do what solar cells are capable of doing with one big difference – since it is not dependent on sunlight, it can generate energy even in the

The time has come for a technological revolution
The automobile manufacturer TESLA takes its name from the famous inventor Nikola Tesla, but the connection ends there. Far from being truly innovative, this company produces relatively commonplace electric vehicles using today’s conventional technology, and these vehicles are powered by batteries that must be recharged regularly. Nikola Tesla, on the

Did You Know

A few years ago, lots of people believed that neutrino energy is just a form of science fiction, and many thought that our present technology wouldn’t able to produce one. There are also people who are saying that our physical capabilities are limited, and it is not enough to create and harness neutrino energy. However, everything changed as scientists have discovered a way on how to produce the energy, and it instantly became news around the world.

In 2015, Takaaki Kajita, a scientist from Japan, and Arthur McDonald, a physicist from Canada, discovered that neutrinos have masses. Neutrinos are one of the smallest cosmic particles, scientists thought that they do not have mass, but some are speculating that it might have its mass because it is a form of matter. Takaaki Kajita and Arthur McDonald developed their mechanism to find out the crucial information about neutrinos. Their research was presented to the scientific community, and they won the Nobel Prize for Physics because of their monumental discovery.
